| Properties : |
|
1- Broad spectrum antibiotic acting actively against
gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
2- After 2 hours from administering Ampivet, the a.i.
which is Ampicillin reaches its highest concentration in
the blood due to it’s fast absorption from the enteric
system.
3- The drug is excreted in the unchanged form in the
urine.
4- As a result of these properties, Ampivet is highly
recommended for the treatment of urinary and
enteric infections. |

| Indications : |
| |
Broad spectrum antibiotic that acts actively against large
number of gram positive and gram negative bacteria. It
is indicated for the prevention and treatment of GIT and
respiratory tract infections caused by : E.coli, Salmonella,
Staph, Strept, Clostridia, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, etc. |

| Dosage : |
| |
Poultry :
- Prevention : 100 gm / 400 liters of drinking
water for 3 - 5 days. />
- Treatment : 100 gm / 200 liters of drinking water
for 3 - 5 days or 100 gm per ton of feed .
Cattle, Sheep & Horses :
20 - 50 mg Active ingredient
/kg body weight every 24 hours.
In severe cases, the dose is given two times a day. |

Animal products should not be used during treatment
and within one day from the last dose. |
