reduction in the prothrombin content of the blood
which prevents blood clotting in hemorrhagic cases . |

Used for the Prevention and treatment of Vit. K3 deficiency
In case of epistaxis in racing horses, Jaundice of newborn,
anemia, heavy metal intoxication, hepatic & intestinal
disorders, prevention bleeding measure in delivery and
surgery. Vitamin K3 is used as an antidote to the coumarin
group in dogs, cats and cattle and large animals . |

| Dosage and administration : |

Administered by Intramuscular or Subcutaneous injection .
- Large animals : 0.5 - 2.5 ml / 10 kg body weight / day
(0.5 - 2.5 mg of active ingredient / kg body weight
/day ).
- Dogs and cats : 0.25 -2.5 ml / 10 kg body weight / day
(0.25 - 2.5 mg of active ingredient / kg body
weight / day ). |

Excessive high doses produce hemolytic anemia,
hyperbilirubinemia & kernicterus in new borns . |
