| Dosage : |
| |
7 mgToltrazuril/kg body weight/day for 2 consecutive days.
This corresponds to 28 ml of Toltavet per 100 kg of body
weight/day for 2 consecutive days .
This corresponds to 25 ppm Toltrazuril on average in drinking
water for continuous medication over 48 hours or to 75
ppm Toltrazuril in drinking water given for 8 hours / day for
2 consecutive days (This concentration can be adjusted according
to the water intake of birds.). |

One treatment is fully efficient. In severe infections treatment
maybe repeated after 5 days . |

| Overdosage : |

A 3 to 5 fold overdosage is tolerated without
any symptoms .

Toltavet is compatible with antibiotics such as Enrofloxacin,
Ampicillin, Chloramphenicol, Furazolidone.Neomycin,
Tetracyclin, Tiamulin, Tylosin, Kitasamycin, growthpromotants
such as Avoparcin, Flavomycin, Virginiamycin,
Zn-Bacitracin, Ionophore coccidiostatics, chemical anticoccidials
such as DOT, Coyden, Lerbek, Arprinocid and
amoebostats such as Dimetridazole,
Ipronidazole and Ronidazol . |

| Withdrawal period : |

- Birds : Must not be slaughtered for human consumption
during treatment for a period of 21 days from the
last treatment .
- Not to be used in birds within 14 days of coming into
lay or in birds producing eggs for human consumption
