- Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins, a family of
highly active broad spectrum antiparasitic agents which
are isolated from fermentation of the soil organism Sreptomyces
Avermitilis .
- It effectively treats and controls internal and external
parasites that impair livestock health and productivity . |

| Indications : |
| |
Used for treatment and control of the following :
- Gastro-intestinal Nematodes (Adult and Immature) : Haemonchus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Bunostomum, Ostertagia,
Trichuris, Oesophagostomum, Strongyloides.
- Lungworms : Dictyocaulus, Protostrongylus (Adult and Immature).
- Nasal bot (All larval stages) : Oestrus ovis of sheep .
- Warble flies : Hypoderma
- Mange mites : Psoroptes, Sarcoptes and chorioptes .
- Sucking Lice : matopinus, Solenopotes,
that affect cattle, sheep and goats . |

| Dosage and administration : |

Administered by subcutaneous injection
Cattle, sheep and goats : 1 ml / 50 kg body weight (200
mcg active ingredient / kg body weight) |

| Warning : |
| |
- Take care of self administration, the product may
cause local irritation and / or pain at the site of injection
.
- In sheep, in case of sheep scab one injection is not
recommended although clinical improvement
maybe observed, elimination of all mites may not
occur.
- Treated infected and untreated uninfected sheep
should not be in contact for 12 days, because sheep
scab is highly contagious . |

- Not to be used intravenously or intramuscularly .
- Contraindicated to be administered to calves less
than 12 weeks of age . |
