| Properties : |
| |
1- Sulphonamides are considered among the most
widely used antibacterial agents in Veterinary
medicine.
2- Each Sulphonamide exhibits its own solubility.
3- Sulphonamides are more water soluble than a single
drug at the same total concentration . |

| Indications : |
| |
- Poultry : Cecal coccidiosis and Coryza .
- Equines : Strangels, Bacterial pneumonia and
Enteritis .
- Ruminants : Pneumonia, Septicemia, Enteritis, Footrot and bacterial diarrhea . |

| Dosage : |
| |
Poultry:
- Treatment 100 gm/ 200 Liters of drinking water for
3 days, stop treatment for 2 days, then continue
for another 2 days.
prevention: 50 gm 200 liters of drinking water for
3 days.
Large Animals :
( Equine, Camels, sheeps and
other Ruminants ) : 2 gm/ 10 kg body weight for
3 days. |

| Withdrawal period : |

Ruminant’s meat should not be used during teatment
and within 21 days from the last treatment .
Milk from treated cattle should not be used for human
consumption . |

| Remarks : |
| |
- Should not be used for young stocks and layers
for long periods.
- Should not be used in anuric animals .
- Treatment should not exceed 5 days . |
