| Properties : |

1- Sulphonamides are considered among the most
widely used antibacterial agents in Veterinary
medicine .
2- Each Sulphonamide exhibits its own solubility .
3- e more water soluble than a
single drug at the same total concentration . |

| Indications : |
| |
- Poultry; Cecal coccidiosis and Coryza .
- Equines: Strangles, Bacterial pneumonia and
Enteritis .
- Ruminants: Pneumonia, Septicemia, Enteritis, Foot
rot and Bacterial diarrhea. |

| Dosage : |
| |
For Poultry :
- Treatment; 50 gm/200 Liters of drinking water for
3 days stop treatment for 2 days then continue for
another 2 days.
- Prevention: 25 gm/200 Liters of drinking water for
3 days .
Large Animals: (Equine, Camels, Sheep And Other
Ruminants ) : 1 gm/ 10 kg body weight for 3 days. |

| Withdrawal period : |
| |
Ruminant meat should not be used during treatment
and within 21 days from the last treatment .
Milk from treated cattle should not be used for human
consumption .
Poultry’s meat shouldn’t be used during treatment
and within 5 days from the last treatment. |

| Remarks : |
| |
- Should not be used for young stocks and layers
for long periods.
- Should not be used in anuric animals .
- Treatment should not exceed 5 days . |
