Quinoprim has a wide activity against most grampositive
and gram-negative bacteria causing diseases
in poultry beside its antiprotozoal activity against the
common coccidia affecting chicken . |

| Indications : |
| |
In Poultry : Infectious coryza, Colisepticemia, Infectious
sinusitis, Fowl cholera, Pullorum disease, Fowl
typhoid, Staphylococcal arthritis, Secondary bacterial
infections associated with respiratory disease,
mycoplasma, and in times where there may be stress
conditions . Also recommended for the treatment of
coccidiosis and avian malaria . |

| Dosage : |
| |
First dissolve the recommended dose in 2 lit of water
then add them to the recommended amount of
water .
For poultry : 14-28 gm Quinoprim per 100 lit of
drinking water. Or 250 - 500 gm Quinoprim per
ton of feed .
The higher dose rate is recommended in the treatment
of Colisepticemia and protozoal disease . |

and within 5 days from the last treatment . |
