| Properties : |
| |
- Enrofloxacin is a synthetic fluroquinlone.
- It acts by deactivation of DNA gyrase, making
the reading of DNA impossible, this results in
the death of the bacterial cells. |

| Indications : |
| |
A broad spectrum antibactericidal indicated
for treatment of Bronchopneumonia and other
respiratory tract infections, gastro enteritis, calf
scour, Mastitis, Metritis, Pyometritis, Skin and
soft tissue infections, Ear infection, Secondary
bacterial infections caused by E.coli, Salmonella,
Pseudomonas, Streptococcus, bordetella
bronchiseptica, and Klebsilla . |

| Dosage and administration : |
| |
Administered by subcutaneous or intramuscular
injection.
- Cattle :
2.5 mg active ingredient per kg (2.5
ml / 100 kg) body weight subcutaneously
daily for 3 days.
Dose maybe increased to 5 mg/kg for 5 days
in case of salmonella infections or complicated
respiratory diseases.
- Pigs : 2.5 mg active ingredient per kg ( 2.5 ml
/ 100 kg) body weight intramuscularly daily for
3 days. Dose maybe increased to 5 mg / kg for 5
days in case of salmonella.
- Dogs and Cats : 5 mg active ingredient per kg
(0.25 ml / 5 kg) body weight daily. |

| Warnings : |
| |
- Not more than 10 ml should be administered
at one subcutaneous injection site.
- Not more than 2.5 ml should be administered
at one intramuscular injection site. |

| Withdrawal Period : |
| |
- Cattle shouldn’t be slaughtered for human
consumption within 14 days from the last
treatment.
- Milk form treated animals shouldn’t be used
during treatment and within 84 hours from
the last treatment. |
