| Properties : |
| |
1- Doxycycline is an antibiotic that is active against
gram positive and negative bacteria.
2- Doxycycline is totally absorbed in the alimentary
tract then removed from the body very slowly via
the urine. It remains in the body for approximately
15 hours. |

| Indications : |
| |
A broad spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment and
control of respiratory tract infections such as CRD-Complex,
Synovitis, Sinusitis caused by Mycoplasma spp.; and
GIT infections caused by E.coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella,
Rickettsia, Chlamydia and certain large viruses. |

| Dosage : |
| |
- Poultry : 100 gm / 200 liters of drinking water for
4 - 5 days.
- Dogs : 5 - 10 mg active ingredient / Kg body
weight every 24 hrs for 4 days. |

| Withdrawal Period : |
| |
Poultry’s meat should not be used during treatment
and within 7 days from the last dose. |
