Diminazene acts by inhibiting the multiplication
of the parasite rather than destruction, result in reducing
the severity of Babesiosis . |

| Indications : |

Indicated for treatment of Babesiosis caused by B. bovis,
B.ovis , B.motasi, B.canis and other babesia species ,Theileria
annulata . And Trypanosomiasis caused by T.congolense,T.
vivax,T. brucei . And used for the treatment of mixed infections
caused by trypanosomes and babesia. |

| Dosage and administration : |
| |
Administered by deep intramuscular injection.
Cattle:
7 ml per 100 kg body weight daily,( 3.5 mg
active ingredient / kg body weight) .
Camels:
10 ml per 100 kg body weight daily.
Sheep and goats:
3-7 ml per 50 kg body weight
daily.
Dogs:
0.7 ml per 10 kg body weight once. |
