| Properties : |
| |
Closantel is active against adult and juvenile (6-10
week old) flukes, blood-sucking nematodes, parasitic
larvae of flies, and has some effect against tapeworms,
mange mites and ticks. |

| Indications : |
| |
-For the control of chronic and sub-acute fascioliasis
(Fasciola hepatica) in cattle and sheep.
-For the control of Oestrus ovis (Sheep Nasal Bot Fly).
-For the control of inhibited, immature and adult
stages of Haemonchus contortus (Barber Pole
worm) including benzimidazole resistant strains.
-Closavet is active against mature and immature
flukes. |

| Dosage and administration : |

Administered by subcutaneous injection.
Cattle: 1 ml/10 kg body weight (5 mg active ingredient/
kg body weight).
Sheep: 1 ml/10 kg body weight (5 mg active ingredient/
kg body weight). |

- Meat should not be used during treatment and
within 56 days from the last treatment.
